Daddy Bob 8th July 1926 - 22nd March 2013

Just to let you know I'm back. I've been away in Wales, sitting with my Dad in hospital, where he died on 22nd March at 2am. O Daddio. I can't find any words just now.

I'll come back soon. I  hope you're all well. With love and thanks as always x x

  5. P. S. He was born the same year as my Mum. I am currently organising her to have extra home help cos she is very unwell. It is a very stressful, yet poignant time. So just let the feelings of sadness, loss and all the memories wash over you and bring you some sort of peace.xxx Laura

  27. Thought I'd stop in and say hello. I hope you are alright. I'm sure this time has churned up many memories and emotions. Death is so traumatic - it feels so final. But we will all get there so it must be okay - we are all together in the end to share eternity in some form. Be well.

  36. I'm so sorry. I hope it was a peaceful passing. I've never known a person that died (just lived in one parent household with my mental dad so never got to know grandparent etc). I can't imagine losing my parents and tho I never grew up with both together, It would hit me hard in different ways I expect.

Take it easy and don't pressure yourself to get over it and 'back to normal'.
