Because I said I would

This really is just a quickie.
It's carnival weekend here so we've been out all day and evening having fun! there are some more events tomorrow if we can bear the excitement. I'll post photos and an up-date tomorrow. I will just say, all is well and good.

After posting the photos of Hamper G yesterday, Gledwood requested some hamster shots; he too, used to keep dwarf Roborovskis. I promised him I would put a few on here today, I  haven't forgotten. So, between getting Hamper G settled down, sending Geekster off to his Dad's for Saturday night and 20 zillion other things, I thought I best take a couple of hamster pics before transferring all of today's photos onto the laptop. As they were promised to Gledwood I decided to take the photos of our "Gledwood" hamster. She, yes she, was asleep so I rattled her cage, she shares her cage with two of her daughters (?) from last year's litter . . . They came sniffing out of their bedroom to see what was going on  . . . followed by these little blighters . . . Cute, yes . . But totally unexpected! Ahh well, I'll think about it all tomorrow . . . Enjoy and goodnight to all . . . Congratulations Gledwood, again!

    1. JJ, Good job you live a safe distance away, otherwise I would put these three through your letterbox.
I've been out again all day and still not found out which "daughter" is in fact the male that impregnated Gledwood . . . They can be pregnant within one day of giving birth and these little blighters must be 10 days old, so quite possibly another litter within 9 days! I best find the "man" . . . tomorrow ;-)

    1. Yes, very much so . . . Just when I thought I'd separated all the males from the females. There's always one who fools me.

    1. Hi Annie, Yeah well I suppose with these creatures being so small, it's easy to make room for them . . . but much more difficult to "sex" them, hence all of the cute mistakes.
I'm well pleased to be able to take photos when I want; not relying on others for them . . . At last!
      School tomorrow . . . WaY HaY!!! a day in peace. Love to all x x x

    1. Hi Lovey
Yeah, it was fun . . . loads of photos to choose from tomorrow.
Hey I'm always looking for new hamster names . . . I might just call two of them Itty and Bitty. The one who bit me can be Bitty . . . And the one who shat in my hand can be "Shitty".
Glad you loved it Lovey, I'll get some photos of the others soon, Take care x

  9. They are adorable! My cat would love them to pieces! LOL I think my dog would too. So just as well I'm no where near you because I'd probably want to take them on and some disaster would strike and they'd be breakfast.

    1. Hi Jeannie,
I had my Bro's dog, Bernie, today and he had his nose flattened against the cage. I'm not sure if he would hurt them or not . . . but I wouldn't tempt him with one.
